Alan's Furniture Making Articles

This section of Wood-Mag tells the story of how Allan Fyfe, of Lethenty Mill Furniture, builds a chair from a beech tree without the use of electricity or machine tools. It features a complete set of cabinetmakers tools from around 1900. Each instalment of the story can be viewed as a written article with photographs by clicking on the appropriate link below. A short movie has also been produced to accompany each instalment; movies are available for download, again by clicking on the relevant link.
